M4B Rice Wine Factory

The factory building was added in 1932. During the Monopoly Bureau’s factory period, it served as the core area of the production line and was used for brewing rice wine. The two connected buildings for rice wine and red wine production are aligned east-west, while their rooftops are oriented north-south, creating a dynamic and varied appearance for the factory. In the past, fermentation tanks were embedded within the floor slabs. Although the equipment is no longer present, traces of the openings remain visible in the milled iron floor slabs on the second floor. Additionally, the equipment openings and iron ladders that were once used to transport rice are still preserved.
