M4A Red Wine Factory

M4A Red Wine Factory

The factory building was added in 1932. During the Monopoly Bureau’s winery period, it served as the core production area and was used for brewing red dew wine. During the Tobacco & Liquor Corporation Monopoly Bureau period, the red dew wine production line was mainly managed by Shulin Winery. This area was later converted into a rice wine production zone and warehouse. The two connected buildings for rice wine and red wine production are oriented east-west, while their rooftops face a different north-south direction, adding visual variation to the winery’s appearance. The wine production plant has fewer windows on its east and west sides to minimize sunlight exposure. Inside, the floor structure still preserves the layout for the fixed equipment that was once installed.
