M3 Sake Brewery

The earliest building in the park was constructed in 1914 during the Hōjōsha period. Originally, it served as a primary sake production area. Later, as the factory’s production layout changed, the building was repurposed by the Monopoly Bureau Taipei Brewery and Distillery into administrative office space. The walls are thick, providing effective thermal insulation. In 1941, the small windows were replaced with numerous arched windows to improve interior ventilation. In 1966, the roof was rebuilt as a flat structure to address water leakage issues.
